I am replacing broken raw rice (noi pacharisi) to polished kodo millet because rice has carbohydrate hence skipping that for making delicious moong dhal kheer
✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:
▼INGREDIENTS:
yellow moong dal - 122 g
polished kodo millet - 50 g (Varagu)
grated jaggery 170 g
coconut - 86 g
12 badam and 12 raisins
4 cardamom
required water
▼PROCEDURE:
moong dal kheer with coconut and kodo millet
pour - 950 ml water into the pan heat in medium flame
rinse moong dal - 122 g twice and add into the boiling water
keep stirring for while and boil in high flame until it bubbles
after change flame simmer and cook the dal for 35 min
here I am adding polished kodo millet - 50 g rinse this and add into the mixture
cook again for 20 min add 190 ml water again

mean while take 12 badam and grapes and 4 cardamom
add grated jaggery 170 g and stir constantly
take fresh coconut - 86 g and grated it along with cardamom
once dal cooked add the coconut and mix well
add 82 ml water and mix well
melt ghee 1 tbsp, fry chopped nuts badam and raisins
Finally pour into the moong kheer and turn off flame
The moong kheer recipe slightly becomes thickens after sometime hence warm it before serving
The kheer is almost healthy and delicious dessert recipe
