Healing Curry with Dried Black Turkey Berries

 Note: Using fresh quality tamarind make the curry taste likse fish curry also gives bright colour of the sauce

✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:

▼INGREDIENTS:

Groundnut oil - 52 ml

seasoning balls - 1 tsp full

medium size onion - 2

garlic - 30 g

Turkey Berry Fryums which is black (sundaikkai) - 30 g

home made masala - 3 tbsp

salt - 1 tsp

water 800 ml

tamarind - 57 g soak in 200 ml water

curry leaves some


▼PROCEDURE:

heat the Groundnut oil - 52 ml after change flame medium add seasoning balls 1 tsp full for tempering

Add chopped medium size onion - 2 and garlic - 30 g saute until become transparent

tomato - 3 saute in medium flame until becomes mashy

add Turkey Berry Fryums which is black (sundaikkai) - 30 g cook for 3 min and mix well

dried black turkey berries good for gut health

home made masala - 3 tbsp and salt - 1 tsp

add water 800 ml and stir constatnly cook 35 min in simmer

add curry leaves some before closing with lid

after 35 min it turns aromatic add soaked 57 g tamarind in 390 ml water

extract the tamarind juice 390 ml from it and add to the curry as this enhance the taste exclusively

cook for another 20 min in the same simmer after turn off flame

This black dried turkey berries recipe curry last for 3 days you can just reheat while serving

Serve with steamed rice
