Exploring Ghee Rice For serving Guest | Simple South Indian Ghee Rice

✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:

▼INGREDIENTS:

Seeraga samba rice - 400 g soaked for 20 minutes

Ginger - 12 g

Garlic - 12 cloves

oil - 50 ml

onion - 2

coconut - 65 g

water - 750 ml

Ghee - 1 tsp

cloves - 8

dried red chilli - 6

Cardamom - 3

Cinnamon - 5 small sticks

Mint leaves 20 g


▼PROCEDURE:

Garlic - 12 cloves | Ginger - 12 g

Onion - 1 medium size

Coconut - 65 g add some water and blend well

Seeraga samba rice - 400 g wash the rice two times in water

Soak the rice for 20 minutes in drinking water

heat oil - 50 ml into the pressure cooker

let 1 tsp ghee melt into the pan

Dried red chilli - 5 | cloves - 8 | cardamom - 3 | cinnamon - 5 small stick

put Ginger garlic paste into it keep flame medium

once rawness goes off add chopped onions - 2 medium

Mint leaves to be added once onion becomes transparent

during my childhood times these recipe served for Instant guest as it is quick to make in simple way

These recipe served for marriage couple who visit as guest now only the trend changed as biryani previous was ghee rice to be served

Pour coconut paste into it and mix

Add 750 ml water to it water depends upon the rice quantity we add

Salt - 1/4 tsp

keep flame high to be boil

drain the water

Add rice when it started boiling like this

Mix well

Keep 2 whistle

always remove after 10 minutes to release pressure completely

The rice cooked effectively smells aromatic
