How to Make Delicious and Easy Yellow Pumpkin Halwa at Home

Yellow pumpkin is good for weight loss
✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:
▼INGREDIENTS:
Yellow pumpkin - 1135 g grated
ghee - 170 g
cardamom - 5 crushed
sugar - 350 g
cashew - 40 g
▼PROCEDURE:
Wash the pumpkin and cut with a sharp knife
i grated it with box grated as it is hard its almost - 1135 g rest i use for sabji recipes total pumpkin weighs 3 kg including outer skin
use 100 ml oil let it melt Add the grated pumpkin and sauté it for about 20 minutes until it softens slightly and starts to reduce
the grated pumpkin must cook in ghee very well hence it required more amount of ghee
adding another 60 ml of ghee as it is not enough for sauting
once pumpkin cooked well for 20 min in ghee itself add sugar - 350 g
Stir well and cook for another 30 minutes until the mixture thickens further
Add cardamom - 5 for fragrance and flavor constant stirring is necessary
add some ghee for frying nuts cashewnuts - 40 g chopped
add the halwa to them as that pan may get burnt at bottom hence use heavy bottom pan for making dessert
Mix everything well and Stir constantly until the halwa reaches a pudding-like consistency
the amount of ghee we poured will be absorbed by the pumpkin through medium flame only hence it takes time until then keep stirring
ghee may floats on top of the halwa as that is the final stage to turn off the flame
pumpkin is great recipe for bloating it totally cures the digestive problems
