Carrot halwa without Milk | gajar ka halwa bina doodh ke

✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:

▼INGREDIENTS:

Fresh Carrot - 1 kg

Homemade Ghee - 1 cup

Sugar - 1 cup


For frying nuts:

Ghee - 2 tbsp

Cashewnuts - 1/4 cup

dry grapes - 1/4 cup

Cardamom - 8pcs


▼PROCEDURE:

1. Add ghee 1 cup to the wok let it melt

2. Take 1 kg grated carrot ( it was peeled washed )

3. Pour the 1 kg grated carrot in ghee

4. Roast on medium flame for 15 minutes in ghee

5. Stir the carrot at regular intervals for every 2 minutes

6. This process of stirring makes carrot soft and supple

7. Add 1 cup of sugar to it and saute 5 minutes.

8. You can see juice oozing from carrot while adding sugar

9. Close with lid for 10 minutes on simmer meanwhile stir at regular intervals for 3 times

10. Now turn off flame and keep aside

11. Add 2 table spoon ghee fry the nuts

12. Once nuts turned golden brown add the carrot and saute for 10 min

13. Stirring them continuously is mandatory

14. The carrot halwa is ready to serve without milk, mawa, milkmaid

15. Make sure you continuously stir carrots so that it doesn,t burn from bottom of the wok.
