Exploring SET DOSA Making in two ways with jeera seeds Pepper
Here I share you the Set dosa making and adding Vadagari recipe
✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:
▼INGREDIENTS:
Raw Rice (Mavu Pacharisi) - 1600 g
Idly rice (parboiled rice) or Puzhungal arisi - 1600 g
Fenugreek - 130 g
Pepper powder - 1tsp
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Jeera seeds some
▼PROCEDURE:

Idly rice (parboiled rice) or Puzhungal arisi - 1600 g
Fenugreek - 130 g which makes the dosa in rose colour this is vital ingredient
rinse all in water twice
adding more fenugreek will make the dosa crispy and rose in colour
usually both for dosa and appam making batter is same major difference is appam batter we mix boiled rice one cup to make it fluffy which i reveal it later
rinsing properly is important
i use this rinsed water for planting trees as it is nutritious hence do not waste this rinsed water
now pour 1500 ml water and soak it for 6 hours
after 2 .30 hours , take urad dhal - 500 g and rinse in water twice
urad dhal takes less soak time hence pour 1800 ml water and soak for 3 and half hours

after soaking in more water urad dhal splits see hence it requires more water for soaking properly
drain the soaked water
combine together in same container for blending
add 1700 ml water freshly again to blend smoothly
This batter comes for 4 days
see the way I mixing all the mixture together that makes it evenly distributed
now this is the perfect dosa batter now take 1400 ml of batter from this for appam making
rest i store it in fridge for later purpose
now I have taken 1400 ml batter and added salt - 1 tsp and water 200 ml which is one glass
For making set dosa add some turmeric powder into the batter and mix well
Here i reveal you two ways of making set dosa initially only with turmeric
rub sliced beetroot with oil on hot tawa keep high flame
it seems yellowish because of turmeric
change flame low while flipping
for set dosa make vadagari in thick consistency so that it stick into the dosa well
I will share the vadagari recipe in the description check out
the other way of making set dosa , sprinkle some pepper powder and jeera seeds 1 tsp
apply oil and flip and change medium flame
this style of making set dosa is on fleek
