The Perfect south indian Pepper Rasam goes great after having heavy meal
✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:
▼INGREDIENTS:
cumin seeds - 2 tsp
pepper - 1 tsp
garlic - 3 clove
1 spoon of chopped tomato
33 g of tamarind ( for tamarind water , need 400 ml water )
salt 2 tsp
turmeric powder - a pinch
curry leaves and coriander leaves
chopped tomato - 1
oil - 1 table spoon
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
dried red chilly - 2
hing powder- a pinch
▼PROCEDURE:
South indian pepper rasam
cumin seeds - 2 tsp
cumin seeds is the main ingredient for this recipe
pepper - 1 tsp
garlic - 3 clove
1 spoon of chopped tomato
Firstly blend without water
now pour some water and blend well
add some water and pour the mixture into the bowl
I have soaked 33 g of washed tamarind in 400 ml water
mix tamarind water into thick consistency
this method is so simple and rich in taste
now pour 1200 ml of water to it
add some curry leaves and coriander leaves to it
add salt 2 tsp
a pinch of turmeric to be added
1 table spoon of oil
mustard seeds - 1 tsp on high flame
dried red chilly - 2
add 1 tomato
saute 2 minutes medium flame
add pinch of hing powder
now drop this into the mixture and mix well
keep on medium flame until starts boiling
It starts boiling and turns aromatic which indicated perfect southern style of rasam
This recipe helps for digestion after having heavy meal
