Mixed Vegetable Kurma with Turnip, Carrot, and Cabbage Delight @pressure cooker
If you have beans add 100 g its optional veggies using here is totally upto you here I am revealing the technique of making the basic kurma in pressure pan that too instantly in easy way
✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:
▼INGREDIENTS:
Carrot - 130 g (2 carrot)
Cabbage - 370 g
Turnip - 310 g (2 turnip)
Ginger - 35g
garlic - 40 g
oil - 80 ml
coconut - 80g
water - 830 ml
chopped onion - 5 medium size
chopped tomatoes - 3 big
salt - 1/2 tbsp
homemade masala - 2 tbsp
fennel seeds - 1/2 tbsp
cinnamon - 1 tbsp small sticks
cloves - 7
▼PROCEDURE:
Pour 30 ml keep flame high
Garlic - 40 g and ginger - 35 g
presauting like this in oil will make the kurma last longer so always presaute ginger garlic in oil until turns aromatic for 5 min medium flame
3 chopped medium onions
keep sauting until onion becomes transparent
making this curry in pressure cooker is simpler than in kadai , hence sharing you basic curry making instantly
pour oil again 50 ml and heat it after add Fennel seeds - 1 /2 tbsp
once fennel seeds turns brown add 1 tbsp of cinnamon stick small and 7 cloves
change flame medium add 1 medium chopped onions
once onion turned transparent add big tomatoes - 3
Cabbage - 370 g
since cabbage and turnips has water content i preferred this vegetable it upto you
carrot - 130 g almost 2 quantity
turnip - 310 g ( 2 turnips )
add salt - 1/2 tbsp
add homemade masala - 2 tbsp
Add water 300 ml first and stir well
coconut - 80 g blend well this mixture with 100 ml water
you can also add beans 100 g its optional upto you
add water 300 ml again and stir well
generally vegetable consumes more water for curry unlike non veg recipes
add coriander and mint leaves
add 130 ml water and stir constantly
keep 3 whistle and flame in medium
this curry is great for chapati and dosa
