This plantain kurma is prepared easily with coconut ginger garlic paste with some spices. generally for kurma you need cinnamon , cloves and fennel seeds as these are mandatory to initiate the any type of kurma.
✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:
▼INGREDIENTS:
For ginger garlic paste:
Ginger - 10 inch
Garlic - 10 cloves
onions chopped - 2
Coconut - 1/4 cup
For Plantain sauce:
Onion - 2
Tomato - 3
Homemade masala - 2 tbsp
Mutton masala - 1/2 tbsp
Plantain- 2 medium size
Salt - 1 tsp
water - 2 cups ( 1 cup for mixing left out coconut paste from mixer jar)
▼PROCEDURE:
Oil - 2 tbsp - medium flame
Ginger - 10 inch | Garlic - 10 cloves | onions - 2
saute well until raw smell goes off
Turn off flame and take into the plate cool it
allow it to cool
Coconut - 1/4 cup
Keep this blended paste for later
Pour oil half cup to the same pan
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
medium flame
Cinnamon - 5 stick | cloves - 5 piece
once fennel seeds turns brownish
add onion - 2 and tomato - 3
saute till becomes transparent and cooked well
add mutton masala - 1/2 tsp (optional)
Homemade masala - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Plantain chopped vertically - 2
add 1 cup water to it mix well
cover and cook for 10 minutes medium flame
Add blended paste to it mix well
this paste make gravy thick and ehance the taste
add some water to mixer jar so that left out paste can be mixed and poured to it
sprinkle coriander leaves
Cook on simmer for 15 minutes meanwhile saute 2 times
Turn off flame
