You can also make small bondas and fry in oil and then mix in curry rather stir frying in tawa, since i need some what in liquid format i did like this

for thick consistency you deep fry in oil is recommended

✨ABOUT THE RECIPE:

▼INGREDIENTS:

batter mixture

Bengal gram dal - 1 and half cup

dried red chilli - 4 | ginger - 4 pcs | garlic - 3 cloves | cinnamon - 5 small stick

chopped mint leaves

2 green chilies

2 onions

coriander leaves

oil required

Salt required


For gravy

onion - 4 medium size

ginger - 15 pcs and garlic - 1 full size cloves

tomato - 6

coriander and mint leaves


▼PROCEDURE:

Bengal gram dal or split chick pea - 1 and half cup

wash in tap water once and soak in water for 3 hours

dried red chilli - 4 | ginger - 4 pcs | garlic - 3 cloves | cinnamon - 5 small stick

add required salt and blend well with little water

Add chopped mint leaves, 2 green chilies, 2 onions, and coriander leaves to the dry mixture

here i section the batter into two one for pakoda and other for vadagari recipe

since i share you vadagari recipe exclusively skipping the pakoda part hence you check in description for detailed cashew pakoda recipe

rest of the mixture we make vadagari

In a small pan, heat a bit of oil and add the 1 tsp fenugreek seeds and cinnamon stick 5 and cloves 7

Sauté for a minute until fragrant after add onion 4 medium size finely chopped

garlic - 1 full cloves and ginger - 15 pcs blend and add once onion becomes translucent

add chopped small tomatoes - 6 depending upon the vadagari mixture

add green chilli - 4 and cook on medium flame

add 2 tsp of home made masala and salt - 1 tsp

add 600 ml water and cook for 15 min on simmer

Heat a griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat. Lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it into a thick pancake

spread oil and Cook for 4 minutes on each side

cook for 10 min on medium flame until golden brown

meanwhile after 15 min open lid and add mint leaves and coriander

repeat the same for next pan cake

now brittle the pancake and drop into the sauce and mix well

mash into small pieces and close then cook for 5 min after turn off flame
